Questions people ask

How long does a repair take?

Common jobs like screens and batteries are often finished in 30–60 minutes while you wait. Water damage and board-level work take longer. You get a time estimate after diagnosis.

Is the repair covered by a warranty?

Yes — 60 days on the parts we fit and the work we do. It covers faulty parts and workmanship on that repair.

Do you charge for diagnosis?

Not for obvious faults like a cracked screen. Complex faults and water damage carry a small diagnostic fee, and it's credited towards the repair if you go ahead.

What if the device can't be fixed?

Some devices are past saving. If yours is, you pay only the diagnostic fee where one applies, and we'll talk through data recovery or safe recycling.

Which brands do you work on?

Apple, Samsung, DJI, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, Huawei, Nothing and more, plus iPads, tablets, laptops and drones. See our full brands list and repair prices.

Where's my repair? Can I check the status?

Message your ticket number on WhatsApp and we'll tell you where it is and when it'll be ready.

How can I pay?

We accept mobile money (MTN and Airtel), cash and card. We confirm the price with you before any work starts.

Do you offer pickup and delivery in Kampala?

Yes — we can pick up and deliver within Kampala. Message us on WhatsApp with your location and we'll confirm if we cover your area and the delivery fee. We also send parcels by courier across Uganda and abroad. See how delivery works on our Delivery page.

Will I lose my data during a repair?

Screen and battery repairs don't touch your data. For board-level repairs we tell you before we start if there is any risk to your data, so you can back up first where possible.

I'm not in Kampala — can I still get my device repaired?

Yes — we accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in Uganda. Package your device securely and ship it to us via any reliable courier at New Pioneer Mall Building, Level 6, Shop PI-53, Kampala. Once it arrives, we diagnose it and confirm the price and payment with you directly over WhatsApp before doing any work. Mail-in typically adds 1–2 extra days each way for shipping on top of the usual repair time.

Why does my iPhone say “Unknown Part” or “Important Battery Message” after a repair?

The iPhone cannot confirm that a replaced part was registered through Apple’s own repair system, so it shows a notice. It is not a fault and the phone keeps working. Our 60-day repair warranty applies either way. What the message means →
