What should I do first if my phone gets wet?
Switch it off straight away, do not charge it, take out the SIM tray and case, and bring it in as soon as you can. Do not use a hairdryer or press the buttons to test it. Read: what to do in the first 30 minutes.
How much does water damage repair cost?
Cleaning and diagnosis starts from about UGX 60,000 for budget devices, UGX 100,000–160,000 for mid-range phones and UGX 160,000–300,000 for flagship and Pro models. This is the diagnostic fee, and it is credited toward your repair if you go ahead.
Can every wet phone be saved?
No. Some phones are past saving. If yours is, you pay only the diagnostic fee where one applies, and we talk you through data recovery or safe recycling.
Will I lose my data?
For board-level repairs we tell you before we start if there is any risk to your data, so you can back up first where possible.
Does it work even if the phone looks fine?
Yes, and it is worth doing. Liquid can sit inside and cause problems days later, so a phone that works after getting wet is still worth checking.
How long does it take?
Water damage needs a diagnosis first, so we give you a time estimate after we look at the phone.
