Can your screen be refurbished?
The display under the broken glass must be healthy. Check the two lists below.

- A flat OEM screen
- The glass is cracked or broken
- No ink spots or patches on the display
- No dead pixels
- No vertical or horizontal lines
We replace it instead
If you see any of these, refurbishment will not fix it.

What refurbishment means
Same display, new glass
When only the glass is broken, the display underneath can often be kept. We separate the broken glass from the working display and bond new glass on with fresh adhesive.
Then we test the screen before you collect it. If the display under the glass turns out to be damaged, we tell you and quote a replacement screen instead.

What is screen refurbishment?
Refurbishment restores a screen whose glass is broken but whose display underneath still works. At our service center the broken glass is separated from the working display and new glass is bonded on with fresh adhesive, then the screen is tested. It is an option for people who want it, not something we push.
Which screens can be refurbished?
Flat OEM screens with broken glass, where the display itself is healthy: no ink spots or patches, no dead pixels and no lines. If the display under the cracks is clean, the screen can be refurbished.
Which screens cannot be refurbished?
Screens with ink spreading across the display, dead pixels or dead patches, or vertical or horizontal lines. Curved-edge screens and screens that are not OEM are also not covered. If your screen cannot be refurbished, we tell you and quote a replacement screen instead.
Do I have to choose refurbishment?
No. Refurbishment is only for customers who want to go ahead with it. You can always choose a new screen instead, and we explain the options before you decide.
How do I know if my screen qualifies?
Switch the phone on and look at a plain white screen and a plain black screen. If you see ink-like patches, dark or coloured spots, dead pixels or lines, the display is damaged and refurbishment will not work. If it looks clean under the cracks, message us your phone model and we confirm when we inspect it.
How much does screen refurbishment cost?
The price depends on the phone model, so we confirm it on WhatsApp. You see the price before you pay.
Can technicians and shops send several screens?
Yes. Tell us how many screens and the models, and we reply with the price. Our Order parts page lets you add each model and send everything in one WhatsApp message.
Can I send a screen from outside Kampala?
Yes. We accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in Uganda. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange it.
Where do you refurbish screens?
At our service center in New Pioneer Mall Building, Level 6, Shop PI-53, Kampala. Hours are Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm, Sat 10am to 5pm, and Sun by appointment.
