iPhone problems we fix in Kampala, Uganda

White screen, panic restarts, phones that won’t turn on, Face ID, camera, network, Wi-Fi, buttons, back glass and water damage. We diagnose first and quote before any work starts, with a 60-day warranty on parts and labour.

iPhone not turning on (no power) fix

An iPhone that will not switch on, stays on a black screen or ignores the charger can have a drained or failed battery, a faulty charging port, a short on the board or a damaged power circuit.

  • Black screen and no response to the buttons
  • No charging sign when plugged in
  • Gets warm but never starts up
  • Went dead after a drop or after getting wet
What we do: We test the battery, charging port and power draw first, then repair the faulty part or the board-level fault behind it. You get the price before we go ahead.

iPhone white screen fix

A white screen is seen most often on the iPhone 13 series, though other models can get it too. It can come from the display or its cable, a software fault or a board-level problem, so the cause has to be found before the right fix is chosen.

  • Screen shows plain white or white with lines
  • The iPhone still rings or vibrates but the display stays white
  • Started after a drop, a software update or for no clear reason
What we do: We work out whether it is the display, its connector or the board, then repair the real cause so you only pay for the fix that is actually needed.

iPhone panic restart fix (keeps restarting)

An iPhone “panic” is when the phone suddenly restarts itself and later shows files starting with “panic-full” under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. The log points towards the failing part, which can be the battery, a sensor or flex cable, the charging port or the board.

  • Restarts by itself every few minutes or hours
  • The Apple logo keeps appearing during normal use
  • “panic-full” entries in Analytics Data
What we do: We read the panic log to narrow down the failing part, test the likely suspects and repair the fault. If it is on the board, our technicians do the micro-soldering in the shop.

iPhone Face ID / Touch ID not working fix

Face ID or Touch ID can stop working after a drop, water exposure or a screen or home-button replacement. Messages such as “Face ID is not available” or “Move iPhone a little lower” usually point to the front sensor assembly, its flex cable or the board.

  • “Face ID is not available” message
  • Fingerprint not recognised or Touch ID greyed out
  • Stopped after a drop, water or a previous repair
What we do: We test the sensors and their cables and repair the fault where the part can be repaired. If it cannot be restored we tell you plainly before any money is spent.

iPhone back glass repair

A cracked back glass lets in dust and moisture and can cut into your fingers. We replace the back glass on iPhones, and you can change the colour at the same time.

  • Cracked or shattered rear glass
  • Loose or chipped glass edges
  • Want a different back colour
What we do: We remove the broken glass and fit a new back glass cleanly, keeping the frame and the parts underneath protected.

iPhone power, volume or home button repair

Power, volume, home or mute-switch buttons that stick, double-press or do nothing are usually caused by dirt, wear or a damaged flex cable.

  • Power or volume button does nothing
  • Button feels stuck or presses twice
  • Mute switch or home button not responding
What we do: We clean or replace the button assembly or flex cable and test every button before you collect.

iPhone camera not working or blurry fix

A black camera screen, a camera app that will not open, a blurry or shaky picture or a cracked lens can come from a damaged camera module, a dirty or cracked lens or a board fault.

  • Camera shows a black screen
  • Photos are blurry or the picture shakes
  • Cracked camera lens glass
What we do: We check the camera module and lens, replace what is faulty and test front and back cameras before you leave.

iPhone overheating fix

An iPhone that gets very hot while idle or charging can have a failing battery, a charging fault or a component drawing too much power.

  • Hot to the touch with no heavy use
  • Battery drains much faster than before
  • Hot while charging
What we do: We test the battery, charging circuit and power draw to find what is heating up, then repair or replace it.

iPhone no service or SIM not detected fix

No service, “No SIM” or a signal that keeps dropping can come from the SIM tray or reader, the antenna or a baseband fault on the board, and sometimes from a locked network.

  • “No SIM” or “Invalid SIM” message
  • No signal bars or “Searching…”
  • Signal drops after a fall or water
What we do: We check the SIM reader and antenna first, then move to board-level baseband repair if needed. For network-locked phones, ask us about network unlock.

iPhone Wi-Fi or Bluetooth not working fix

A greyed-out Wi-Fi button, Wi-Fi that will not connect or Bluetooth that keeps dropping is often a board-level fault, commonly after a drop or water exposure.

  • Wi-Fi switch greyed out
  • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth will not connect or keeps dropping
  • Started after a drop or after getting wet
What we do: We diagnose the wireless section of the board and repair it with micro-soldering where possible.

iPhone stuck on Apple logo or boot loop fix

An iPhone stuck on the Apple logo, restarting in a loop or stuck in recovery mode is often a failed update or software fault, but it can also be caused by storage or board faults.

  • Stuck on the Apple logo
  • Restarts again and again
  • Stuck in recovery mode after an update
What we do: We try to recover the phone without losing your data where we can, and tell you early if the fault is hardware.

iPhone dead after a drop (board damage) repair

A hard knock can crack solder joints or damage chips on the motherboard even when the outside looks fine, leaving the phone dead, glitchy or missing features.

  • Phone will not start after a drop
  • Random glitches after an impact
  • Features stopped working with no visible damage
What we do: Our technicians inspect the board under the microscope and do micro-soldering and component-level repair.

iPhone water damage repair

Liquid damage keeps spreading after the phone dries, so switch the phone off straight away and do not charge it. Cleaning early gives the best chance of saving the phone and your data.

  • Phone fell in water or another liquid
  • Screen flickers or the phone is dead after getting wet
  • Speaker, camera or charging stopped working after liquid exposure
What we do: We open the phone, clean the board, check for damaged parts and give you a quote before repairs continue. A small diagnostic fee applies and is credited if you go ahead.

Other iPhone faults

Not sure what is wrong, or your fault is not listed? Tell us what the phone is doing and we will diagnose it.

  • Describe the symptoms when you book
  • Bring the phone in for a diagnosis
  • Send it by mail from anywhere in Uganda
What we do: We diagnose the fault, explain it in plain words and quote before any work starts.
